Overview – Mommy Makeover
A mommy makeover is a procedure that improves the shape and tone of the breasts, abdomen and thighs. It addresses the underlying tissue that supports fat and skin and removes excess sagging fat and skin.

A mommy makeover typically involves a variety of surgical procedures performed on different parts of the body to slim down the appearance. Depending on which areas concern you the most, the surgeries are tailored to fit your needs.

This deal includes a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), breast lift, and an inner thigh lift. Please write if you would like a different combination.

Abdomen: A tummy tuck involves removing excess skin and tightening of the underlying abdominal muscles. An incision is made just above the pubic area from hip to hip, occasionally extending to the back.

Breast Lift: A breast lift surgery raises and reshapes sagging breasts and is accomplished by removing excess skin and repositioning the remaining tissue and nipples for best appearance.

Thigh Lift: A Thighplasty (thigh lift) addresses excess skin in the thigh area that becomes saggy, flabby and/or has a dimpled appearance. The procedure creates a thinner thigh and a tighter, more attractive (and contoured) thigh as well as decreasing irregularities in the skin surface.

Procedure
The approach used in a Mommy Makeover procedure depends on the anatomy of the patient. Multiple surgeries are typically desired by the patient.

This deal includes a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), breast lift and an inner thigh lift.

Abdomen: A “tummy tuck,” involves removing excess skin and tightening of the underlying abdominal muscles. An incision is made from hip to hip just above the pubic area. Today’s advancements in incisions leaves a very fine, inconspicuous scar which is barely detectable after fading over time. This is because sutures are now placed under the skin. Additionally, the incision is placed as low as possible so it is hidden within most types of underwear. The skin is detached from the abdominal wall to reveal the muscles and fascia to be tightened. The muscle fascia wall is then tightened with sutures and the basic procedure is completed.

Breasts: A breast lift is performed under general anesthesia and depending on the physical circumstances and wishes of the patient, an incision is made through the armpit, under the breast, or around the areola (the darkened area around the nipple) which create the least conspicuous scars. The procedure involves rearranging the breast tissue, typically shifting the nipple position, and increasing the breast firmness by tightening the skin.

Thighs: An inner thigh lift is designed to remove excess skin from the inner upper leg and involves an incision along the inner thigh which is hidden in the groin. Thigh lifts are performed under general anesthesia. There are several surgical techniques, each with the interests of the patient in mind such as lifestyle, clothing worn and personal wishes.
