Overview – Post Weight-Loss Contouring Surgery
Body contouring after major weight loss improves the shape and tone of your underlying tissue that supports fat and skin and removes excess sagging fat and skin.

Post Weight-Loss surgery, also known as Massive Post Weight-Loss surgery, typically involves a variety of surgical procedures performed at different times during the same visit, in stages, to shape the body. This is because surgeries are performed on both the front and back of the body.

Depending on which areas concern you the most, the surgeries are tailored to fit your needs, starting with the areas of greatest concern.

Description
This deal includes a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), arm lift, and an inner thigh lift. Please write if you would like a different combination.

Abdomen: A tummy tuck involves removing excess skin and tightening of the underlying abdominal muscles. An incision is made just above the pubic area from hip to hip, occasionally extending to the back.

Breast Lift: A breast lift surgery raises and reshapes sagging breasts and is accomplished by removing excess skin and repositioning the remaining tissue and nipples for best appearance.

Arm Lift: An Arm lift removes excess tissue and reduces the circumference of the upper arm. Extra skin is removed from incisions along the inner arm. The incision is placed where the tissue can be best tightened and well hidden.

Procedure
The approach used in a Post Weight-Loss procedure depends on the anatomy of the patient. Multiple surgeries are typically desired by the patient.

This deal includes a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), breast lift and an upper arm lift.

Abdomen: A “tummy tuck,” involves removing excess skin and tightening of the underlying abdominal muscles. An incision is made from hip to hip just above the pubic area. Today’s advancements in incisions leaves a very fine, inconspicuous scar which is barely detectable after fading over time. This is because sutures are now placed under the skin. Additionally, the incision is placed as low as possible so it is hidden within most types of underwear. The skin is detached from the abdominal wall to reveal the muscles and fascia to be tightened. The muscle fascia wall is then tightened with sutures and the basic procedure is completed.

Breasts: A breast lift is performed under general anesthesia and depending on the physical circumstances and wishes of the patient, an incision is made through the armpit, under the breast, or around the areola (the darkened area around the nipple) which create the least conspicuous scars. The procedure involves rearranging the breast tissue, typically shifting the nipple position, and increasing the breast firmness by tightening the skin.

Arm Lift: Arm Lifts are performed mainly on women, for removing loose skin and excess fat deposits in the upper arm area and more specifically between the underarm and the elbow. The procedure is performed when the skin becomes loose and flabby and results in a better toned and proportionate arm appearance.
